Signage Compass

Why SignageCompass exists

Every vendor in digital signage says they are the best. That is their job. Mine is different.

The vendor jungle

I have spent years around this industry, and one thing never really changed. When a company needs to buy digital signage, they are mostly on their own.

You start on vendor websites, where everyone is the market leader. You walk a trade show and collect a stack of business cards. You read the news portals. Then the sales people and consultants start calling, and most of them are paid to push one answer. A lot of these deals close on personal relationships, not on whether the product actually fits the job.

Independent advice is hard to find. That is the gap I wanted to close.

What we built instead

SignageCompass is a neutral place to find your way through that jungle.

Anyone can add a vendor. Nothing is bought, no vendor pays to rank higher, and we do not sell your details as a lead. The platform is free to start. That is the whole point, so let me be blunt about it: if we ever started selling buyers to vendors, the neutrality would be gone, and so would the reason to use us.

The data comes from the vendors' own public websites. We collect it, structure it, and keep it current. If a vendor states something on their own site, it is on the record, and they should be willing to stand behind it.

From there you work the way a buyer actually works. You describe your use case, build a shortlist in minutes, and run a deep comparison instead of juggling twelve browser tabs. It saves a lot of time, and it gives you something to defend the decision with.

Where the data comes from

I want to be straight about this. Right now the vendor data is auto-collected and refreshed every week, and most of it has not been verified by the vendors themselves yet. We label it as exactly that, unverified, on every profile.

Treat it as a strong starting point for research, not as a contract. Always revalidate the details that carry real money before you commit. We would rather tell you where the data stands than dress it up.

Today we track 212+ vendors across the digital signage market, refreshed weekly.

Shortlist, then compare in depth

The catalog gets you oriented. The real work happens when you compare.

Our comparisons are not a feature checklist like the big review sites, where half the boxes are wrong anyway. Each comparison is built for your use case and your audience, and it goes into the depth that actually decides a project. Because every report is individual and has a shelf life, we keep them private to you, and you can share them with the colleagues who sign off the budget. You can read more on the comparisons page.

If you are specifying, evaluating, or investing in digital signage, I think this saves you real time. Try it, and tell me where it falls short.
